overall fun tourney, wish mango played, wish amsa made it deeper, wish i got to play but highkey dislike how December tourneys are always scrutinized as not being legit for rankings n shit, so i don't mind dodging this one. also dont feel like campaigning for invitationals anymore lmao qualify only

also happy for jmook vs aklo. honestly mostly liked how he recognized that aklo gave him free center and he was like "sick im going to be in center for the whole set." aklo initially was like "HAH i will full hop into the center from the corner" and overtime jmook was like "ok i will stop u" lmao

but jmook started doing nice ftilts that made it kinda hard for zain to set up late aerials, and even doing stuff like cc ftilt (sometimes zain still dodged it but it has an itty bitty amount of better range and is faster than grab)

wish zain switched to nair whenever sheik was like 100%+

zain is a freak vs spacies as usual, moky was the closest one to compete because he landed edge guards, everyone else did ok but no edge guards = ggs

marth sheik is hard, felt like zain presented nice sequences where he baited cc grab with good late fair dash backs/forwards

josh felt like he made the smartest plays in the ditto, really felt like he only lost whenever him and his opponent would attack on the first beat over and over again, wish he played more like he did those last couple of stocks vs moky on fd (not counting the sd's)

i think I could've done it because ive been prepping all those matchups for a while but it still would've been really hard, wish I could've gone regardless of how the path would've played out
