My decision to leave USA permanently is being confirmed every day. The actions of the POTUS and his supporting politicians is terrible. I fear that the coming months/years will be worse everyday for everyone. I fear for the poor and vulnerable the most. All for riches and power? Makes no sense...

Yesterday I made an appointment at HEB to get a covid vaccine. I show up today and was denied the immunization because I am younger than 65. I am a healthcare worker and I have a spouse who is at risk. I hate republicans or anyone who thought that the current POTUS was a good idea. : (

To those in central Texas, HEB has covid vaccine appointments. Good news since CVS, Walgreens, and People's Pharmacy does not have any. I was freaking out until I got my appointment confirmation. Phew! : )

Sometimes it is nice to listen to the Grand Canyon Suite by the London Pops Symphony Orchestra. I am tired after a long teaching day. The music was used in the movie a Christmas Story and adds elements of magic which cheer me up.
