Gluck!

Look up alternate pen holds for people with arthritis/injury/ect. When I was a teen and my auto immune disease was going ham on giving me inflammation in my hands I went through sŕlĺįome physical therapy that taught me alternative ways to use things and I got a keyboard that I swear saved me.

I feel embarrassed I did not realize you had a hand in this. It's one of my favorite movies. I hear the makeover scene song in my head *all* the time. It's an earworm that has never left.

It's worth noting I came out then as bisexual. I was well known for having a boyfriend for my entire high school life. I still got slurs and so my friend and I embraced it and would purposefully canoodle to make the teacher and jerks uncomfy. I wore my rainbow socks neigh constantly.

I grew up near Seattle. I remember the slappy slap of the denim flares in the pouring rain vividly. But now I live somewhere that I can avoid pants.

Still. It's why I don't like wearing them..

I chronically wear flipflops/sandals because I can and florida. It turns out I hate shoes now but I also hate it when I walk in tall grass or a sandy area and my feet get wet or and sandy or covered in little plant seed things. I just want to not have feet. But will I wear shoes? No.

Of course. The amazing dream I had that should be a novel that I wrote down to not forget about and promptly forgot.

Not sure what caused the eye loss but he will compensate! My goblin of a Boston terrier nearly poked his eye out at 6months old. (Only one layer of membrane was between him and it getting removed).. It healed but his vision on that side is quite terrible.

Bounced back quick though!

Er to be clear. I'm not supporting a guy I don't know.

I just know your take on his failures is apt.

If I could get them delivered to me right now I'd probably pay an embarrassing amount.

Livin' in my Baba Yaga Witch Hut, deep in the enchanted forest swamp is wonderful. However, the lack of delivery is absolutely one of the big downsides. I need some forest spirits willing to go get potato slabs.

Speaking from the unique position of heir of a successful illustrator. You are correct.

Even if some of us rise above. The imposter syndrome alone is like a too heavy weighted blanket you can't take off most of the time even when you do the thing.

But the publishing industry has changed too.

For some reason my fig tree has decided to reach for the sky and give actually no figs. I have fig envy. Its sibling remains barely two and a half feet tall.

I just want them to give me figs!

We had 2. But it was 2004.

I became the third but even before I did. We had an OPENLY homophobic health teacher and none of the teachers or parents (except mine and one other) cared.

I got called slurs. It wasn't a big school. 300 kids. Staff could have done something if they wanted.

Not on my desktop but in my personal, scrap journal styled discord I have a similarly titled channel filled with crap that was probably important.

I'm in my early 30s if it helps. But Ciara is a musician and one of her famous songs is "1, 2 Step" I knew of the song when it was asked of me but just barely. But the question has stuck with me for years.

Someone once asked me if my name was "One Two Step Ciara or Mountain Sierra".

Logically I know this. I do. But I don't trust myself not to just..

Steal more books on accident.

I mean fair. But Therion's got an amazing bass in there and it's all 1920s themed..just in case that changes your mind.
September 19, 2023 at 3:38 AM
May I suggest listening to a cover to Summer Night City by Therion?

This is an open suggestion to anyone who might appreciate unique takes on beloved songs.

There's a few other good ones of that particular song. But this one has a certain charm to it.
