Today is Indigenous Veterans Day, a day that holds deep importance across Canada. While Remembrance Day honours all who served, Indigenous Veterans Day specifically acknowledges the unique experiences and sacrifices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis soldiers who fought bravely in global conflicts.

This year, the SRTA Executive is doing a book study, reading “52 Ways to Reconcile: How to Walk With Indigenous Peoples on the Path to Healing” by David A. Robertson. It is a wonderful resource full of practical and thoughtful actions we can incorporate into our work and our lives.
