I felt stupider after reading that. To add insult to injury, it was a BBC article, which I thought would be better than slop from our press, but nope, they just uncritically regurgitated the list of “charges”.

The idea of LLMs “hallucinating” is bullshit. An LLM is doing the exact same thing when it generates “incorrect” output as it is when it generates “correct” output.
