I was definitely juggling a bit to much on the way home today grin the Ealing art trail. Managed to knock one off my 🍉 pins off my bag. Off to backtrack a touch in the rain. But of I can't find it, hopefully someone else will spot the sparky treasure while out and about.

Walking home from the Ealing #BEAT having an easier time spotting Pollinators today compared to when I tried to do the @pomscheme.bsky.social FITCounts at work with the changing weather. Shows the importance of even the smallest patches of habitats for wildlife

Hmmmm, finally got around to finishing my first needle felting project. A kit by themakerss.co.uk released yrs back with @savebutterflies.bsky.social Appart from going a bit off trying to match the photo, I took the thin felt a bit too literally! Going 2have2 go back in +felt to join up the gaps 🤭

A video of the cloud bank that's visible from my vantage

My snaps aren't doing this giant cloud bank justice, no where safe to stop with clear views of it on the commute home. Some good views by Twickenham Station for those pedestrians in the area. Looks like a giant mound of whipped egg whites....maybe one been watching too much #greatbritishbakeoff

The cloud cover made for a colourful sunrise this morning as well as playing with the moon again 😀
September 10, 2025 at 7:22 AM
Is there a term for folks obsessed with clouds and cloud scapes? Like Luna-tics can be used for the moon? As I was going between those 2 states yesterday @metoffice.gov.uk @kerriedoodles.bsky.social @benton2.bsky.social

Somewhere behind those fluffy ping and grey and blue cloud scape (which I would love on any other day) is a blood moon eclipse over London! Hope you fellow lunatics out there have clearer sky's and clear views to the moon

Fantastic. Between that and managing to accidentally catch the honey/mead moon on the 11th as I had left home early to get to the work moth trap- shaping up to be a happy nocturnal skies month

Might these be the edges of some Noctilucent Clouds @kerriedoodles.bsky.social ?

Some of today's 9 toads rescued from the drains at CBP The park has recently installed ladders in 3 of the underground car park which have been great. Over 15-20 drains now have ladders. Hopefully funding and permission for the remaining outside drains will come through @froglife.bsky.social

Had a big moth buzz past- might this be another night for the hawk's? I think there might be an ichneumon wasp in there.....🤞🏾before and after the brollie, hope it won't be too much of a barrier into the trap

Got a moth trap set up again. It's looking super busy as I just went out to try to use an old brollies to create a partial light shield to limit the light hitting some of the neighbours homes (thoughthey all said it was ik last time), seems to have worked, as those bricks are now dark.

@kerriedoodles.bsky.social seeing pebbles like this while beachcombing always makes me think of your wonderful artwork 😀
Imagining a whole coastline filled with wildlife art in the rocks with the same wildlife fluttering and pacing about. Works look amazing

I might have made the concrete a bit too wet today. Hoping the ratio of pva is correct and that this will hold....attempting to use colour theory on the wet cement to make the blur from the blue and white stand out. Let's see if it helps 😄

So a little over two months after starting the embroidery element, finally finished the celtic knot work today 🎊 now just the main bag to assemble...

Replacing with a better tracing of the creature that is in my mind. #clouddrawing :)

I was trying to zoom in... as I tight there was an edge of rainbow there... and then I couldn't un-see the dragon :)
Can you see it yet? 😃

And to be fair to the Met, they and also the organisers of the march against the genocide, did a good job of keeping our protest separated from the right wing lots who turned up, and kept us moving to the end of the rally

Not many species, worth the early start for the Lime Hawk-moth alone. A lovely Red-barred Totrix a couple of spider and fly species. This fly might be one of the Empis or dance flies. Like that name fly the group :) @nhm-london.bsky.social @ldnwildlifetrust.bsky.social @savebutterflies.bsky.social

Well the trap definitely glows. Hopefully screened from the neighbours on the far side by trees. Doesn't they seem to glow through closed curtains - so warned all my immediate neighbours so hopefully they close curtains and don't get disturbed 🙈

Bit the bullet got a moth trap 4home. Trying a style I've not used from #nhbs. Jerry-rigged a makeshift rain gaurd with bits at home. Hoping it all works. Alarm set for sunrise tomorrow and units on a timer to come on at night 🤞🏾it all works and that the neighbourhood 🦊+🐈 leaves it alone 😅

@kerriedoodles.bsky.social I thought of you when I saw this sky :)
