It might be more than laws or rules that they will abuse. Look at the bigger picture. Do you actually think there is anything they won't do? Selling out seniors etc is just the tip of the iceberg if they are allowed to run rampant. Another words the consequences would be even worse.

I felt like that at first. But think about any shutdown that doesn't apply to Musk. How much damage could he do while no one is watching. It would be catastrophic and I'm sure it's what he was hoping for.
