We show that European alpine plants remain largely stable despite warming, with abundance shifts varying regionally. Seed traits offer limited power to predict “winners” & “losers,” highlighting the need for long-term monitoring.

Today, our very own Sigrid Hyldegaard Djernæs will defend her MSc thesis, which explores whether cattle grazing can promote biodiversity in Danish coastal meadows.
3 years into my first faculty job, I was thrilled about the new career opportuniteis. What I didn’t expect was how little time I’d spend on actual research. Yesterday, I set up 2 small experiments to test a new method. Spending half a day in the lab felt amazing!
