I am not a storming the capital kind of Christian but am a loving my neighbor kind who opposes any form of Christian Nationalism and oppression. Therefore, I plan to be insufferable for the foreseeable future.
Too many people think this won’t touch them because they are insured by their employers. It will affect ALL of us. Pre-existing condition denials, lifetime maximum coverage for illnesses and non-coverage for your children 18 and older will become our reality again.

It’s not just women. I know some men who are also counting the days until they can get out of here.

Yep. Just saw a digital billboard in one of the rural counties in this election that is all red and says in bold black letters to “VOTE RED!!!”. Also got a flyer in the mail today with a pic of Trump saying he wants me to vote. None of this happened in the last election which means they are scared.

I’m sure most of the viewers were sitting there wondering what to do with that extra $500 million they had laying around.🙄

Marsha is awful!!!
November 13, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Yeah, I’ve said since before the election that he was their useful idiot that they would use to break all of our systems and then they would oust him and seat Vance in the Oval Office. Vance is really their guy.
November 12, 2025 at 10:43 PM
I’ve been thinking the same thing.

I am astounded at how many of our lawmakers are voting on bills that they have either not read or not read in full.
November 12, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Yep!!!💯

I did medical billing for an imaging center before the ACA went into effect. I have seen how bad it can get when insurers deny due to preexisting and maxed benefits. It only takes one major medical event to find yourself in catastrophic medical debt.
November 12, 2025 at 7:58 PM
It protects you against them denying due to pre-existing as well as having a maximum amount placed on payments for medical services and allows your children to remain on your plan until they turn 26. Every single one of us will be affected if they do away with the ACA.

Maybe they feel he has served his purpose and are getting ready to install JD in the Oval Office.🤔
November 12, 2025 at 6:28 PM
I’m so sick and tired of Marsha Blackburn.
November 12, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Unfortunately for them this is exactly what they voted for. #FAFO
November 12, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Where did the money go??? How does $5 billion dollars just vanish into thin air???🤬🤬🤬
November 12, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Given how much he complains while he is living, I find it hard to believe he won’t complain while he is dying.🙄
November 11, 2025 at 10:55 PM
Oh, they’ll vote. They’ll just vote against it. Then they can say they followed through on their agreement and still get what they wanted all along.🤬
November 11, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Joke will be on them. He is going to get rid of these programs. It’s in the Project 2025 playbook. It was going to happen with or without the shutdown.
November 10, 2025 at 11:48 PM
It’s time to get big money out of politics and to remove lifetime benefits for elected officials. When they leave office and have to go back to the same healthcare situation the rest of us depend on, they might start making better choices for the people who pay their salary.
November 10, 2025 at 1:24 AM
While I appreciate your stance I am feeling very discouraged after the Senate Dems caved today. Especially since we all know the Republicans will vote against any healthcare bill the Dems put up for a vote.
November 10, 2025 at 1:10 AM
I am so disappointed in them. I have been commenting on every Dem leaders posts about the shutdown on this page begging them to not bend the knee and then they did just that.
November 10, 2025 at 1:02 AM
I am against it. It’s a promise to vote but not a promise to vote in favor of the ACA. R’s will vote against any bill that gets put in front of them. Then for kicks they will continue to work on eliminating SNAP and other programs vulnerable people depend on.🤬
November 10, 2025 at 12:49 AM
I guess it’s easy to cave when you are guaranteed healthcare for life because you were elected into office and don’t have to worry about how you will afford the sky rocketing premiums many are being faced with. How long do you think it will take the R’s to back out of the promise to vote???
