You are misunderstanding this! Once this is pointed out to The Designer he will insist on 10 inches of armour on all sides and 18 inch guns….

Invade China and North Korea simultaneously. That’s the last thing they’d expect, and it would protect their supply lines

Canada did indeed produce stuff. But not at scale. In Oz and NZ with a few honourable exceptions the arms industry consisted of “ blokes in sheds”

Had Britain made a serious effort to industrialise the empire prior to 1939 WW2 would have been a lot shorter and the world wouldn’t have blessed with the Bob Semple Tank…

As an interned officer he was presumed to be a gentleman, and was allowed out if the camp provided he promised in writing he’d come back. He signed out, returned, said “ I forgot my hat”, left again and hot footed it to Belfast

Fun fact: when the 23kg drone fails it releases a parachute, but that only limits descent speed to 5 m/s, which is the same as falling on top of you from s height of 1M. That’s if the chute works and and drone remains intact, neither of which are certainties.

But nobody in authority seems to care.

Not seeing any. Suspiciously future tense right now. Bear in mind: we’re struggling to see use cases, so we haven’t even got to economics yet.

Having said that, does a reasonable job for low level bounded tasks like “who is in charge of X at bigcorp?” Or “write have to open this file “

And the SAS. Or the stuff coming out about the SEALs.

And meanwhile the other 99% of the armed forces are … not special …

Most books written by former SOF people are garbage. Either they hide the truth to keep secrets, or they make stuff up because serving their country by watching a road junction was militarily important but really boring and won’t sell.
October 5, 2025 at 9:12 PM
What’s especially alarming is that SOF depends on secrecy and operational novelty- getting somewhere that is underguarded and unexpected, and home asap.

But they now have leaders who simply can’t keep their mouths shut, and operators who ignore the rules.

Sooner or later there will a fiasco

Where are all the 2a people, anyhow?

Random masked men are pulling random people into cars and vanishing, with the approval of POTUS!

Are they all at that school in uvalde, Texas, standing on *the wrong side* of the classroom door perhaps?
