If so it's a bit of a delayed reaction. I was surprised she ran again in 2024!

Sandwich Guy thanks everyone for their support, “emotional, spiritual, artistic or financial.” Intones, “Let us not forget that the great seal of the United States says…‘ out of many, one.’…You all have a right to live a life that is free.”

Do you happen to know what the instructions were on "assault"? I've been looking around a bit and can't find them.

Right, I guess what I'm imagining is more like "hmm, not sure what to think about this one, seems complicated...guess I'll vote no"

If it doesn't pass I think it'll be because of people's inherent conservatism that inclines them to vote no when doubts are raised. I spoke to one person Sunday who was complaining that we shouldn't be voting on prop 1 because it's an upstate matter that doesn't involve us...so she's voting no!

Haven't read the article & don't plan to, but I think this thesis also depends on this common idea, sort of the state-level equivalent of the cult of the presidency, that governors are responsible for everything the state legislature passes during their term. Cuomo is actually a good counterexample!

And she’s getting reelected unopposed this year!
