I could see them negotiate a reduced payout at the end of the season or he finds another gig, but I don’t think anything‘s happening before December.

I don’t understand how it’s his last game. We were told last week PSU couldn’t afford the buyout, and why would he walk away from that money? Feel he needs some sort of redemption to even be an appealing hire for other schools. Not sure it’s happening, but walking away won’t help his stock.

I’ll still watch every game, but I’m not getting upset or excited about anything anymore. Hope they win, if not, whatever.

“That’s my responsibility.” I mean always the same comments, but really there’s been no consequences for his actions as long as he’s been at PSU. Same lack of preparedness for away games, lack of qb development, lack of big game wins.

Speaking of play calls, did Franklin take over in Q4? Saw him with a giant poster of the playbook and Coach K looked like he was just sitting on his hands. I know they won’t say anything, but wondered if you had intel.
