Egg prices did go down when bird flu abated, but I think bird flu is back in some states. Eggs were $2.99/18 count here in Virginia, down from $8.99/18 count last year. Beef, however, is outrageously expensive ($24.00/lb for flank steak), along with everything else (except eggs).
