Food story for my fave food person: Anna: giant puffball from my yard a few years back, if inside is white, it’s edible. Mild flavor, but people make puffball Parmesan. Others blend them, freeze the powder, and use it as a thickening agent for gravies and stews.

Giant edible puffball, bigger than my head, from my backyard a few years back. Been told It’s pretty bland in flavor, but people do stuff like puffball Parmesan or blend them, freeze the powder, and use it as a thickening agent for gravies and stews.

Early morning bike ride by Lake Michigan. These birds don’t care who the nominee is. They always vote Dem, because they know that that’s the ticket if we’re to have even a chance at addressing global warming. Vote for the party not a person this Fall. Do it for the birds.

It has happened that way so many times in US history.
We’re not taught much of radical politics at all in school. But the interaction of the mainstream and the radical from both the right and left has historically been a mainspring of change in the US system.
