But I did paint some adorable creatures sleeping in flowers. Look at those adorable little bee butts!

I had to take a break from horror art to do some cute stuff. Look at that little snake! Awww.

I said that while they were the biggest site of their sort, they weren’t the only ones, and I would no longer buy or sell with them if they continued to allow hate on the site. This was the answer I got back.

I was playing around with shirt designs to have printed for conventions and took a break to… play around with a personal design. This is Mother Suspiriorum from Susperia, it’s part of a seperate piece that bugs me, but I do love this part.

Some of what I worked on at NFCC. Lots of interest and I imagine I could have sold them had I been willing to let them go before I scanned them.

NFCC went well, it was my first real con selling my own art, which was weird, but I got a lot of positive feedback, lots of interest in my current projects, and far too many future projects to come.

This started out as something I was doing for smaller art cards and pins to sell at conventions, and I liked how they all turned out so much better than I expected, that I turned them into a single print. Friday the 13th killer(s) from first to last movie.

Let’s hope they don’t make any more. 😂

I’ve been working on some stuff for Niagra Falls Comicon, and I’m honestly not unhappy with how everything is turning out. I have two more done, and four more to go. Jason’s are all watercolor.

When you want to make fluffy bun covers and accidentally make Cthulhu bun covers. I have some figuring out to do on stiffening the wings, but overall, I’m rather fond of them. Yes, I did eventually make fluffy ones, now I’m making brain slugs.

I’m making some tiny Pinheads for a convention and turns out they are dicks to each other and pull out each other’s pins, so they had to be put into quarantine until I remembered I had these cookie bags. Annoying Hellpriests, canonically a pain.

I needed some cheap pantyhose for a project and was digging around to see if the super cheap ones still existed. They do… and they come from China apparently. Check out those shipping prices for $.50 pantyhose.

Triptych inspired by the movie “The Cell.” This is actually the second triptych I’ve done for this movie, but it’s been long enough that I knew I could do better, so I’m glad I remade it.

I’ve been designing some stickers to print and leave about, I’m fond of this one.

Finished my first ever political piece last night, seemed appropriate to post after yesterday’s Oval Office Shit show.

Sometimes we all need a reminder of the lovely things that are still out there, so you are very welcome.

And as a bonus, I went and found some sleeping bees. I forgot that when they sleep together they hold each other’s little legs.

Here’s two pictures I found that I adore and often cheer me up. Look at how happy that little guy is with his dandelion! And did you know that bees often take little naps in flowers, so occasionally you find pictures of little bee fannies just hanging out of flowers.

This is the shirt my husband usually wears on this day.

Somehow doesn’t stop workers for asking if we know the score however.

This is my new “The Cell” triptych. I did the old one almost a year ago, and knew o could do so much better now. I was so right, I’m much happier with this one.

I’m rewatching Twin Peaks, and for the first time I noticed that the very first scene of the intro is actually slightly different than the rest. It’s darker and more abstract. Since I’ve started playing with black paper and chalk pastels, I figured it was worth a try.

I adore winter. Yeah it’s a pain, yes being in AK means I have more winter and darkness than I’d prefer, but it’s a beautiful time I love none the less.

First panel of my New St. Catherine “The Cell” triptych, I’ve been calling him king Carl. I have to say, so far I’m extremely happy with it.

The Witch Triptych. I have to say, despite the non traditional layout and the fact I used chalk and charcoal, which I hate using, this is now my favorite triptych. Something about it makes me happy.

Finally got a good aurora showing last night. The last few years it’s always been too cloudy.

Playing around with Black Phillip from “The Witch.” It’s been decades since I had to use chalk or charcoal and I have to say, I’m not unhappy with it. Although I do still HATE both charcoal and chalk, but I’ll use whatever gets the job done.
