I think this is one of the parts that despite being slightly silly still makes sense considering Fusion has an illustration of Samus' mom shielding her from Ridley when she was a kid so I think it was included to follow up on that being introduced there.

I don't know if it'll even out in the anime, but I think he really gets into the groove for the game stuff he did. probably my favorite recasting out of necessity, especially since you have two examples for Fujiwara. Granblue one they even had a chance to write the character out and they didn't.

When I saw the instructions post they and saw it came naked presumably so the dress and stuff presumably didn’t get damaged during production and shipping I was laughing pretty hard.

This kinda happened again when Summertime Rendering was stuck in official release limbo and stuff actively had to be purged at one point because it got so bad. If you go and look at any of the releases you'll find people talking about it in the comments, it's pretty funny.

there was one really good clip at the taco place of natsuki hanae lying about characters he voiced to one of the vtubers because she didn't know who he was but the english upload got deleted so it might be gone from the jp clipper side too

I think unfortunately one of the problems with this now too is you get companies coming in from the start for releases instead of expanding into something more resembling a company and even more experienced devs who aren’t really indie aren’t exempt: see Pennyblood and Dangen (repeat offender btw)

Seems like the classic case where it propelled them to where they are now so they wanna reap all the benefits, sucks reading this because I wanted to finally pick up that villainess strategy game in the winter steam sale and I have to weigh that decision against stuff like this

Whatever way you end up watching it there's a bunch of bonus feature stuff that's really cool, they have a making of documentary and a bunch of behind the scenes stuff so you get to see the filming sequences for the rotoscoping. Hoping 100m has those too when it hits Blu-Ray.

Even if it’s mostly for self-insert purposes, unvoiced MCs are a boon in the genre too even if they aren’t blank slates because it’s a lot of text that doesn’t have to meet a recording deadline, although I think MCs like Kageaki or Souun (Tokyo Necro) wouldn’t work as well w/o having their voice.

You could interact with them in cold steel 1 and 2 IIRC, just the logic in the coding for the chest messages disappeared since they all pulled from the same “This chest is empty” string instead of a unique one for each different chest.
