Would be extra hilarious if orange man gets the South African Apartheid Nepo baby deported by ICE ice baby

It's also about business and influence though. Musky boi has more money and twitter, but the orange baboon has more political power and leverage. He can rly hurt his business interests, whereas Melon Tusk cannot really go against the gov.

What do you expect us to do? Come together as a group of rational and forward thinking individuals that act in the collective interest in order to implement pragmatic solutions to to society's problems? Like that is ever going to happen lol. Just give me my TikToks and my Pumpkin spice Chai Latte

It's like voting in a democracy. Your vote on its own does not matter and will most likely not be pivotal for the result. But if everyone thought this way, democracy would not work. I'd be wary of freely handing over my data to any firm/gov, especially foreign ones, over whom you have no leverage.

Data Privacy matters. Even if you think it doesn't concern you, it might in the future. And even if it won't there are other people, such as whistle blowers, political activists and journalist who NEED data privacy from firms and especially powerful imperialist governments such as the US and China.

Last year, Baschar Al-Assad finally got ousted from power ending a brutal dictatorship that lasted almost half a century and now there is cause for cautious optimism for Syria and IMO for the whole region in the long term. There‘s always hope.

Nothing is set in stone. Things could get worse, but things could get better too. If things get bad enough for too many people, any dictator/king/corporate overlord can be toppeled.
Almost 15 years ago, a vegetable merchant in Tunesia set himself on fire, because he couldn‘t take it anymore.

You may think this is somewhat condescending coming from an outsider, but I‘m rooting for America and I want things to go well. For better or worse, you guys rule the world for now and what happens in the US is often a sign for things to come over here as well. Stay positive and have strength!

For that day you have to be ready and present solutions to the (admittedly dumb) average man that will make his life meaningfully better and make him want to vote again for the progressive cause and social democracy, just like FDR did.

He may crown himself King and Dictator for life, but one day even he will have to meet his maker. With a bit of luck, there might be no successor around to take over his movent that is nearly as charismatic than he is.

That means lowering prices for everyday goods, higher wages that keep up with inflation, affordable healthcare and housing. Don’t focus on the cultural stuff. You can‘t win. Sadly, even if it goes against your core values, you will never win the masses over, especially as it relates to immigration.
January 17, 2025 at 11:54 AM
Non-americano here, orange man is very bad yes, but he and his flock of braindead sheeple are just the symptom of larger underlying structural problems. If you want to save democracy, rule of law and the liberal world order at large, you‘ve got to start by improving people’s material conditions.
