I like Rebecca Ferguson and I think she's a decent actress (she's great in Silo) but movie Jessica didn't do it for me. She may have set out to change the "60s attitudes to women" but the result was that movie Jessica doesn't have enough focus to establish the badass BG/mother internal conflict.
