Exactly this. When the US election results were announced I realised my fundamental beliefs in life and the way the world works are wrong, and I've been struggling to reckon with that ever since.

As soon as either of their egos take a hit. Get #presidentmusk and/or #vptrump trending and it'll be over in a day.

Pretty grim feeling today.
I've decided ignorance is bliss now; I'm going to close my eyes, plug my ears, and look forward to it all blowing over.

You guys really had me believing! Devastated for my friends in the US, and terrified for what this means for the rest of the world. Keep fighting the good fight, they'll need you now more than ever but this really feels like a sucker punch and I don't know how many will have the energy to keep going
