How did an entire generation learn to forget about the Save button while millennials learned the hard way to set a timer ever 20 minutes?!

I would love a future season of The Residence to be set in Davos. Cordelia Cupp birdwatching in the Alps while world leaders mill around looking nervously about for a killer.

I hear Cameron’s Cabinet Office had the same approach to Brexit pre-Leave vote.

The Belfast is one of my favourite attractions in London. Fond memories of my small children sitting on the torpedoes.

I think I’d prefer the gay hockey if I didn’t have to leave my house, though.

It’s definitely the starter packs.

I’ve just started following a bunch of people who I’m quite sure weren’t here when I first arrived, but having seen them listed, I’m genuinely delighted to follow again after a hiatus.

It’s interesting that you say this is unusual.

With deeply emotionally involved catfishing scenarios, it’s usually a female peer. A friend, a classmate, a relative from the same generation. They’re the ones that usually seem to have nothing obvious to gain from this extensive time investment.

Yes it depends on the airport, and also where you’re flying from. I went to Berlin with a third-country pal who is (now) British and I waited for ages at the baggage carousel. She said “tell me I didn’t go through all of that hassle only to get stuck back in the Other Passports queue!”

My mind went to “pope” but let’s see how he gets on with the job first before we send the pikemen after him.

I have been a bit worried about my teenager who only reads manga (am I harming him by letting him only read picture books, and not “proper” books?!)

...anyway in Nov he started Animal Farm in school, read the whole thing for fun and asked for 1984 next.

The comics-to-Orwell pipeline is real.

Have just been taking photos of a few pages from my NYE hosts’ Padella cookbook. Now I learn there’s more recommendations?

At this rate I may as well go and buy the book!

Are we doing demand pricing on parmesan now?

I might be in trouble if so…

Love this!

I did guffaw a bit too loudly at the “remnants of David Harbour”

Oh my god. Was he ever really that young? Or…,

…Am I just so old that “Distinguished-Era-Obama” is now my jam?!

I dropped off a wallet I found in the Sainsbury’s car park at the address on the driving licence, and the woman who answered the door shouted to her chap “I told you, didn’t I, I TOLD YOU someone would bring it back! This idiot has only gone and cancelled all his bank cards!”

I don’t fully agree. There are a lot of people who would be put off by an obvious creep even without knowing the full details - especially if they don’t need or want the kind of power he’s offering, or have other avenues to get it.

The mean-spiritedness is the bit that really got me. I remember wondering how these descriptions of characters were even printed. I don’t enjoy it in life, and I definitely don’t enjoy it in the fiction served to my children.

He’s only appearing open to other forms of agreement, because they’re not on the table. If they were he’d soon change his tune.

I can’t remember which one this was… but I think everything was just eclipsed by gravity + pink paint can.
