I'll add a species list later once Ive done it up. I plan on going back out tomorrow night as well, hopefully I'll find some different things. The species listed are what I think they are, but I'm not an expert so I might of misidentified some things.

Nov 17th 2025: Explored low tide beach at night. Heard bird calls, and occasional splash. Lots of graceful crabs and transparent shrimp at the waters edge. Saw some hermit crabs. Found a blobster! I think it was a Harbor Seal. Blurred photos of it, not that graphic but still gross. Not bloody.

Nov 10th 2025: Walked along the local boat pier. Lots of gulls and Buffleheads in the water and flying about. Northern Kelp Crab found on piling (photos attached). Lots of Red-eye jellyfish! Saw harbor seals 3 times (either same one or 3 separate ones). Seagulls fought cormorant for a sculpin!

Lots of rockfish and hake is what I'm expecting. Generally off the west coast of the USA, dont think I'm allowed to get more specific than that.

I'll be collecting quite a few otoliths in the coming weeks!
