You can now use previously created events as templates for new events. Currently it just pulls the 6 most recently created events, but I think in the future adding the ability to save specific templates could be cool.

Ai companions are the social connection equivalent of junk food. They feel great / fulfilling in the moment, but in the longterm they do more harm than good. Just like going to gym, the best option isn’t always the easiest.

I’m going to push myself to share more about what I am working on. Currently I’m building JoinMe with my wife. Our goal is to make it fun and easy to find people to do your favorite activities with. Things like bumble bff and meetup just aren’t solving the loneliness epidemic. I want to do better 🫡

I was inspired by how the instagram close friends handles searching for new people to add to your close friends list. This is my attempt to make something similar for managing your lists in JoinMe. I wanna tweak the animation of the search bar to make it smoother but overall I’m happy.
