My mother died when I was 5. My dad rcv'd social security payments to help raise my sister and I until we turned 18 (23 if we'd gone to college but I joined the Navy instead). My mother had paid into social security her entire adult life. We were collecting what she would've gotten when she retired.

She sent everyone in the command, including civilian employees, an email reassuring them it was ok not to agree with what Vance had said the day before. She knew what the result would be but she did it anyway. That's called leadership. There are plenty of military & vets who feel the same way.

Having read up on the dires I'm not incredibly impressed. What they accomplished is extremely impressive but they didn't bring back an ancient extinct species.

This is what pisses me off & worries me the most. Then I see signs like these & I know there are plenty of veterans out there protesting trump's 🐴💩. It's going to be a rough ride but we'll get through this. Americans aren't known the world over for being nice, polite people who take 💩 quietly.
