Sainz would've challenged Max. RBR does not want that kind of interteam rivalry. They want control and driver fast enough to finish third.

Also has anyone considered that RBR maybe doesn't want the Constructors trophy? They are not a car maker, WDC is best marketing for energy drinks company.
