Discovered the icy equivalent of Mordor this week in SE AK. Just then, the arch dropped into the sea, locking the souls inside to wail forever.

With all the wind Anchorage has had, my peas are unusually stout. Only about half the peas I planted in late March came up, but the survivors are looking great.

45 years ago, I worked at Marineland. When crowds were thin, the two bored orcas, Orky & Corky, would stop, eye to eye through underwater windows. They calmed a very anxious young girl. Last year, I found out Corky was still alive! On Sunday, I went to Sea World and found her. Wiped away a few tears

My peas broke ground. Planted last day of March, Anchorage Alaska. Two full months earlier than we used to plant. Could be that they bloom at the same time as later plantings. We shall see. Science!

I've had this little glass seal for 20 years. Exchanged some stuff I don't wear to get it properly strung. His name is Huey because seals like sitting on bergs in a U-ey shape.

I really wish the AVO would give us a short synopsis of what we're seeing on the webicorder. Is that a Thailand aftershock?
