One of my favorite horror flicks. Fantastic score. Insomnia has very similar musical themes (same composer).

I humbly suggest watching the Assembly cut of Alien 3. Its by no means a perfect film, but I've come to appreciate this version over the years.
There is also the fan made 'Legacy Cut' which is worth a watch - the work they did on cleaning up some of the special effects is impressive.
