😆 the best squirrel watching comes in pairs. My photo was from 7 years ago, the puppy is now taller than his brother. They still squirrel watch together.

He was on FBI's list long before The Great Dictator. His films The Immigrant and Modern Times, as well as his penchant for teenage girls had already caused notice. He moved to Switzerland when he was denied re-entry to the US.

I feel your pain, my completely unsolicited advice as a programming librarian in the states is to contact libraries about doing programming. If you are planning a US trip/tour I would book you in a heartbeat. Luckily I am located in IL so we are an oasis in this sea of red idiocy.

I remember reading that and being so disappointed! I loved Timeless but then it completely lost its luster when I learned it was plagiarized.

This one was a bit of a mirror as well, as a former nanny I could feel the relationship between the carer and child so hard!

Agreed, that's why I have also included some well researched historical fiction such as The Prophets and Kindred. I have always appreciated the truth in fiction when wanting to build empathy. Then adding books like The Cooking Gene add even more depth to my window/door.
