i mean i've been using linux for a bit over 4 years i think but i might not be used to using SPECIFICALLY yt-dlp. maybe my version is outdated actually i should check for that

Well i would say yes but.. i dont know. I cant get those to work either. What i do know is today i tried using yt-dlp again (had it installed already anyway) and *it* didnt even work. Last few times ive needed things ive just had to record with OBS

so sorry but not everyone wants to have to use a command line interface to install an mp4 file (saying this as someone who does sometimes)
