the soldiers have a lot of appeal and subtle exaggeration to how they're animated that looks great on their stylized yet realistic models. it just reminds me how valve animates their characters which still hold up very well to this day because of the hand animated faces and subtly stylized models

small gameplay clip, still got a fair amount of work to do on it but i just want to try and evolve the gameplay of the original in meaningful ways. but as of now this is like 5 hours of work
