Rewatching the Friends finale and holy crap, Jim Rash (the Dean from Community) is in this episode.

Replaying Banjo Tooie, this time a completionist run, has been enlightening.
1) Canary Mary is not even in the Top 5 worst Jiggies if you use the Slide Finger method on the A button. Unconventional, but works.
2) Grunty Industries is actually pretty fun. There's so much to do, even if you're...

Finished watching Scrubs. That finale is still incredible. Might not be the show's best episode, but goddamn is it the finale-est of finales in terms of fanservice and just being a great end to JD's journey. Also, bonus points for using Peter Gabriel's cover of "The Book of Love" for this scene!

Watching random episodes of Classic Simpsons. "The Day The Violence Died" from Season 7 has never not weirded me out with that ending. It's kind of a brilliant subversion. Bart and Lisa DON'T save Itchy & Scratchy; but rather two random kids Lester and Eliza. And they never show up again. Wild!

I also greatly appreciate how it updates me on the status quo in case I missed it, which I did. Gordon is now a beat cop. Vandal Savage is the new Gotham Commissioner. Like, I don't know how that happened, but I'm not overwhelmed by the changes either. A lot is familiar, but a lot is also new.

Ngl, I started reading the new Batman relaunch written by the legendary Matt Fraction and I love the direction it's going in already. Batman has a very techy suit that feels in line with the 2020's, but the character work is strong with Fraction's idea of Batman being a compassionate crusader.

--you need them like invisibility for example. This is a feature that games like Duke Nukem 3D would later popularize and it's cool to see this in a Doom engine game before the Build engine dominated the FPS market. Not sure if it's the first, but it's really useful.

My good friend Stephanie and I have been playing co-op Heretic, since the new remaster of that and Hexen has been out. I might honestly prefer Heretic to Doom. Steph is right about the lack of hitscanners being really nice. But also, you can hold items in an inventory slot and use them when...

Here's the complete list up to 2024. I like how it turned out, all things considered. Was a little worried it might have too many platformers, but my friends assured me I'm allowed to have a genre type.

So far, this is what I have from 1985 to 2009. Some years were better than others, but goddamn it's been smooth sailing since 1989 and just never had a dry spell of games.

I keep forgetting that David Cross was in Small Soldiers. That movie is a real who's who of actors before they got super famous.

63) "Prospekt's March" EP by Coldplay
An extended play that contains new mixes of Viva La Vida songs like "Lovers In Japan (Osaka Sun mix)" and "Lost +" being Lost with a rap section written by Jay Z, plus leftover recorded songs that didn't make the cut...it is a great EP with no-skips....

62) "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay
I listen to this album every year, being the resident Coldplay fan and all. Got nothing new to say. It's an amazing no-skip album with varied, unique songs. And I like how it gets progressively more uplifting throughout the album. 10/10 still.

61) "The Masterplan" by Oasis
How do you follow a more publically disappointed album? You release a compilation album of B-Sides, make the tracklist based on what songs work rather than publication date, and you get what might accidentally be Oasis' greatest album ever made. Yes....

60) "Be Here Now" by Oasis
Their third studio album has quite the reputation. Kind of like Star Wars: The Force Awakens when it came out. People LOVED it, bought it en masse, was ULTRA successful sales-wise and people had nothing but superlatively nice things to say about it, but then...

59) "What's The Story (Morning Glory)" by Oasis
This second album is just an improvement all around. Songwriting, variety, no-skip tracklist, and most importantly a higher production value. This sophomore outing may sound less raw and aggressive, but it generally equates to a career peak. 9/10

58) "Definitely Maybe" by Oasis
Oasis went from that one super popular 90's band I've never even heard a song from bc I'm a 2000's kid. But one rant from a coworker of how they "ripped off" the Beatles sent me on a curiosity spiral that culminated in the purchase of their first two albums, and...

55) Doctor Who Series 3
With Rose and her family and friends stuck in parallel Earth and the Doctor unable to reach her, he deals with the loss of his companion and gets a new one eventually with Martha Jones. Martha is a really likeable companion and generally, these episodes are solid...

54) "Prequelle" by Ghost
Their fourth studio album might just be their best. It has a varied sound that goes from hard rock, to heavy metal, to just non metal instrumental pieces...yet it flows so well from one to the next. There are no skips on this albuma and I've listened to it four times...

53) Ghost's "Popestar" EP
Released as a standalone EP as well as a bonus disc for the deluxe edition of Meliora, this EP contains one iconic Ghost track and four covers. "Square Hammer" their one original and arguably most iconic Ghost song is amazing, and the covers are really good too...

52) Scrubs Season 3
Season 3 continues the hot streak of Scrubs' unstoppable sitcom formula. Turk and Carla get engaged and eventually married, JDElliot's on-and-off again relationship is giving Ross and Rachel a run for their money, and all the side characters are still very funny. I like that...

Btw, Phineas & Ferb Season 5 is great so far. The first ten episodes of Season 5 are on Disney Plus. This is everything a cartoon continuation should be.

Watching Phineas and Ferb S5E08, and they referenced the "two nickels" meme! Best part is that it stands on its own as a joke, and they haven't abused it as a recurring gag since we haven't heard it since the Across The 2nd Dimension movie.

Does anyone remember this movie? It seems like the few who do debate on whether it's any good or not. I've only seen it once a while ago, and I don't really feel strong one way or the other. I wasn't overly impressed with the Beatles song covers, but kind of liked how they used Beatles mythos.

51) Doctor Who Series 2
Not as great as I remember, but still pretty good. With David Tennant starring as the Tenth Doctor, I generally think most of the 14 episodes are decent to pretty good with a few standout episodes. Love the reintroduction of the Cybermen especially. It continues the...
