I'm an outspoken left leaning asshole, but I care and if you listen and you can get past the typos I might seem coherent. I love it when weirdos DM me, feel free to DM me I'll say some crazy shit at you. If I ask you hard questions, I am not trolling.
I really ate this trend of claiming Christian values makes you good. It doesn't line up with history at all.
Christians have been persecuting and killing others for just about as long as Christianity has been a thing.

It was a big thing for GW Bush, and even if we think he wasn't a believer in just using this to string people along, it that extreme psychopathy is mental illness.
Also, we had all these conversations around Republicans 20 years ago when he was in office. We asked "Where are the good Republicans?"

Say that again, let's swap in "willful bigot", "child molester", "war criminal", or any of the other things Republicans have actually been during our lifetimes.
He was decent for someone who would bomb other countries for their oil.
Doesn't sound as nice.

Explain to me the concept of "Faith-based initiatives" using only real-world evidence and without appealing to mental illness.

Well, this is the New York Times we're talking about. They would be okay eating a few Democrat politicians, but would draw the line firmly at eating Republicans.

Such a good trilogy. I'm excited for the fourth one.
And as far as Spider Overlords go, these ones are fairly benevolent.

It was so awesome to be able to build a really cool city in SimCity 2000 and then open it in Simcopter and fly around in it.

In principle, I agree with you. In practice, I don't know if there's going to be elections in four or six years.
We need to change their minds before the next vote happens.

I don't see why we're convinced it was a long shot. They could have done it and that they didn't right now tells me a few things.
First, they think this would have damaged the credibility too much. Next, they are worried about their credibility.

We have been trying to replace coders with some technology since at least COBOL. Every couple of years, we forget the lessons of yesteryear and make some new thing that will let businesspeople make software. Inevitably, they don't want to specify it precisely enough. This comic is 100% real.

They're simple enough to make at home. And France, like much of Europe, has a vibrant open source culture.
I'm pretty sure we can download plans for free for a well-tested guillotine, we might customize to our specific needs. I suspect our billionaires are much fatter requiring more neck relief .

He only seems decent in retrospect. He had fucked up bigoted views, when running, he claimed the Democrat would bring us to nuclear war. He wasn't as open or nuanced as a modern racist, but he dog whistled a lot.
For every good thing he did, it's not hard to find at least one bad thing he did too.

It is both clever of you and I dislike it that, this comment could be a metaphor for any of a dozen modern phenomena, each optional, and each if fixed, saving thousands or millions of lives.

Quad cabs are great for a lot of people and roles. When I'm driving, 90% of the time I'm by myself with a load of random junk. When I'm carpooling other people's car seat 5~7, public transit or a bike can work. When I'm in a truck, I want to fill the bed with full sheets of drywall or whatever.

Because there are several more votes and it seems to go to the house, we contact or otherwise coerce these eight people who flip.
If anything is done to change their minds, this can be prevented. And because 50,000 people per year will die, I think anything is ethical to coerce them.

I wonder if we could physically restrain these 8 senators and keep them away from the next vote if that would block the required things to finalize this. Or is that going to the house?

But seriously, what's good and bad about the F-150 lightning?
I've watched a bunch of videos, I test drove it a couple times, but I didn't pull the trigger.

I think they don't care if they get riots or compliance. Either leads to fascism if they win.
If they just get compliance and we rolled over to their violence, we get fascism. And we get it without the benefit of saying we fought our hardest.

I would support this with every option at my disposal, and a fair bit of money that would have gone to other causes because it would fix so many problems and help so many other causes.
