I am now imagining a roughly Dwayne Johnson sized dragon in a suit in the far corner of a dimly lit speak easy, scotch in hand, you make eye contact, then with a smoldering voice inside your head the dragon says “Come take your key to my room, allow me to read you a bed time story tonight”.

Depends on your computer. My pc case has a fan power setting, so I get it to low mode and that usually stopping it from picking up in the mic. If it does get picked up, it would depend on your DAW on how to fix it. Usually try isolating that frequency and removing it.
