There are many different Oz stories that haven’t been done though. Baum wrote 14 books, and Maguire wrote 4. I think there’s a lot that can be done with it.

A few years ago, I actually took a tour of Universal Studios Hollywood. We did the rides and shopping and everything. I didn’t want to be rude, so I rode the HP rides, which were pretty fun admittedly, but I didn’t actually buy anything.

Lefter-than-thous really piss me off. They’re more concerned with being right than actually doing right. And when someone more pragmatic comes along, they chew the pragmatist out for making and accepting compromises because the pragmatist lives in (gasp) the real world.

I don’t know if you’ve seen The Substance, but he was genuinely the most repulsive thing in that movie, and that’s a body horror movie.

Another I think doesn’t get talked about enough is what an awful father Jonathan Kent is. Superman’s parents are always the ones that instilled human decency in him, but all Jonathan instills in him in this film is paranoia and selfishness. Telling him he should’ve let kids drown, etc.

Fair enough. Sorry about all that. At that time I was more anti-Trump than I was pro-Harris, so I didn’t really look that deeply into it. But thanks for the info.

When you end up between a genocider who’s also a convicted felon and happens to be red (among other things), and another genocider who happens to be blue (and I’ve just been told isn’t great with sex workers), neither option is all that great.

Actually, I didn’t know about the sex worker thing. That is pretty shitty.
