more Astro Bots on the hub world itself. there's other minor things that i didn't mention because this game just has so much (also, it's been a while since i've seen it). oh, and the soundtrack FUCKS. it's an overall very cute game and a good time, just from watching game play footage

where you, your collected Astro Bot friends, and your destroyed space ship hang out where you can complete puzzles (by collecting puzzle pieces on the planets you explore), play a crane game (*cough, cough* gatcha *cough, cough*) that i think gives your Astro Bots accessories, and you can collect

all fucked up by an (ugly) alien, and its components - along with your Astro Bot friends - all get scattered across all these different planets, and you have to save them all. some of the Astro Bots are references to other PlayStation games, both older and newer. there's also, like, a main hub world

it's, like. hm. it STARTED as a little play tester game on one of the older PlayStations (i forget which one) that i think just showed off what the system could do, and then they made it a FULL platformer on the PS5. the basic plot of the PS5 Astro Bot is that your space ship - which is a PS5 - got

DUDE, i was so sad that Mouthwashing didn't even get nominated 😔 like, what do you MEAN that that story hasn't been haunting everyone since their first watch/playthrough of it (i watched three different people play it, one of them being my friend who got interested in it because of me)

scrolling on here feels less intimidating, too. both sites/apps have an endless scroll feature, it seems, but on here, it doesn't *feel* endless. like, it feels easier to catch up on stuff here (helped by the non-existent automatic refresh)
