I wanted Octavia to be wrong, yet here we sit on a precipice of this very scenario. A bullshit presidential election and those who would very much like to take us on a journey of this tale. Those of us who would likely move from the societal norms than conform. This is what we could be. True horror.
The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election 👀 #BookSky #BlackBookSky
