a7) Always to remind myself to stand in the learners shoes. So easy to forget/skip. What motivates them, what matters to them, how can I capture their attention for the moment and help them walk away with the right message. #learnchat

We just saw this in a course on compensation. Sales rep tells a great story about how they utilized the comp plan. Started the experience with that and got rave reviews from those that took it. Simple, to the point, highly effective storytelling. #learnchat

a2) Hopefully the "why" gives enough intrinsic motivation to get them started and you have enough "hook" to keep them going. In corporate it seems like extrinsic is always there in some form. Hopefully you have done your job well enough to make it worth their while #learnchat

Usually it is something I want to learn, so the motivation is easy. I am always on the lookout for good ideas I can re-use as needed though. Always on the lookout for new techniques. #learnchat
