Scary World Theory by Lali Puna is peak glitch pop ambient pop whatever, honestly I don't have much to say more than you should go listen to it right now as it's below 40 minutes long and gives a really chill and fun atmosphere

Other than being more consistent and darker than the Cure's debut, I don't think Seventeen Seconds is a better album than their debut. The better songs (mostly at the end) stand out less and I don't like the 2 random instrumentals. It does hint at brilliance that will be shown later.

Thom Yorke's debut sees him going into electronic and ambient pop. This sounds more like the electronic parts of HTTT than Kid A, with the same quality as the former: some very good songs (the title track and atoms for peace) along with some meh songs. Doesn't overstay it's welcome though.

starts super strong, then gets meh with the only exceptions being in the end and pushing me away, still is an enjoyable record and a mainstream 2000s metal essential

decent debut from the cure, nothing out of the usual post-punk but some cuts like another day and the title track hint at a more unique side of post-punk which they'll be the pioneers of

6.5/10, starred tracks are my favorite
