Anyone else have any issues like this?

It's not nearly frequent enough to be a major concern, it rarely persists for more than one shot... I'd like to know if there is a solution, though, or if this is just a goofy totally harmless age-related quirk of an otherwise great system.

Thank God I didn't only have the 150mm on this trip!!!

It has proven to be the most difficult part of portraiture. I'm OK working with sunlight, but in the studio, it gets weird.

The particular issue I have is, a lot of my AC work was backlit. Combine that with diffusion and I've got kinda odd colours in the shadows. I've got to be more careful x3

The PS3 version is... Fine. I mean, I'm a Sonic 06 apologist and that's the main version I've played.

If you give 06 a go, do so on the 360, and then try Project 06 when you're done. You'll appreciate both the original and the remake a hell of a lot more in the process.

There are some fine RTS games from the past 15 years, but they are either fundamentally different from what came before, or not terribly appealing. Wargame scratches the itch for me but it's nothing like C&C.

Thankfully plenty of people still play these older games... RA2 has a great community!

My near misses... Knightshift, Strife, Eradicator, Ground Control 2, Unleashed, Postal 2, Star Fox 64. Some of these mean a lot to me, most that I left out were just in the "really damn fun but not the most special" category.

I'd say... The real top of the heap here are The Shining Force, S&K, Red Alert 2, and STALKER. I am sure you are Absolutely Shocked By Some Of These. STALKER especially surprised me, as a game I had heard a lot about for 12 years, it really met expectation placed on it. A rarity for me.

I thought I was going to have more personal jank in this list, but I couldn't muster it. Maybe SiN is a little controversial, but I think anyone can admit it's cool as hell.

This is just what's stuck with me over the years... I don't play games like I used to but I will never forget this stuff.

Are there any of your choices that especially stand out to you? Any "near misses"?

Sorted vaguely by release date... My tastes have stagnated over the past 5 years or so. The only "new" games to me in that period are Lotus 3, SiN, and STALKER.

Expansions or... Sequels, the choices were deliberate. I prefer RCT to RCT2, and (gasp) RA2 to YR.

This makes pretty good sense. A pocket radio and camera... Two things you may want to carry around everywhere. What a neat idea.

I usually think of Portra as... Lower contrast than this, but it did extremely well in conveying the feeling of that damn Florida sun.
