How many insurance company CEOs will get murdered if this goes through? All of them?

Can we stop calling them “suspected drug boats” until we get some evidence of what’s happening? “Alleged” is sitting right there if you want to claim objectivity. “Accused without evidence of being…” is a bit wordy but more accurate.

It sucks we’re here and I’m really pissed off about it. But this maneuver won’t get us out of it.

That’s what Paul is trying. If not enough senators care about a delay, the process will just continue but slowly. He might get his way on this, it’s popular.
Amendments democrats want will be opposed by the majority and a threat of delay won’t buy a vote. Someone might try but nothing will change.

Yes, but all it does is extend things. It doesn’t block anything or force someone to come to the table. If the deal is done there’s no reason to delay paychecks out of spite.

I’ve ordered it already. I’ll post your extract too, it looks great.

It’s a beautiful shot. If not focus stacking, how did you manage it?

The video cuts off right after he taps the detonator trigger. I assume they were successful but I jumped.

I would pay a lot of money to listen in on the headset conversations. What the hell is going on in there?
He’s to blame for sure, but I would love to know what decisions he makes and what (terrible) decisions he just accepts.

They were being blamed for everything. And as you say it was getting worse. They deserved the blame, they kicked this off to pressure democrats, and it sure looked to me like the tide might turn.
Now it’s only rate increases which they’ve been trying to do for years. They’re fine with that.

Wait, you can bet on individual pitches? No wonder gambling has completely swallowed sports.

Maybe. The whole point of shutting down is leverage to get what you want. In both directions. Would a few members flip? Would Johnson or Trump blink? MTG is making a case for it, and she’s a nut job with a platform. Pressure was building, but we’ll probably never know.

I had a similar opinion, that settling for only a one year extension, and nothing else, was a failure. But this boggles my mind. We got recission language, and back pay, and some good stuff about RsIF, but not an extension?
Considering who negotiated this, it’s not likely 3D chess.

Brazilian baked goods (they’re not pastry) are amazing. And often gluten free.

It makes it worse for him but he’s lost all respect anyway. One possibility is that the cave will happen anyway (because he lost control and they have enough votes) and now the plan is to limit the damage. Those DINOs caved but not us!
But probably he’s just flailing.

I wish I did. I am a complete novice, and had to put off my baking today.
However, I have a relative with celiac and she’s a big fan of cassava flour aka tapioca flour. It’s not native to Brazil but it’s used a lot there. So my tip is to check out cassava flour and Brazilian baked goods.
