Coat with dark sleeves going under a heavy hotel blanket or two served as a large format changing bag for me a few times in the '60 & '70s.

Emergency changing bag in dark non light tight room: take longest coat, enclose camera etc. flip closures under point neck towards you, away from light leaks (or stuff with dark sweater, pillow etc) proceed rapidly as possible.
