We might be going into infantry horde meta so who knows, maybe we’ll be picking up fanatics, witch aelves and executioners

*models with 1-3 health, I guess if you don't have a better option you can fish for 5s and 6s into some cav

Doesn't Mad 'Un only keep going as long as it is slaying models? So it only works against infantry with 1-3 health, and works best against 1-2 health with no ward. I think that makes it a lot more niche than my beloved wurrgog

Given this, don’t you think capital accumulation could play some role?
May 20, 2025 at 12:31 PM
Most countries have progressive taxation. The lowest earners are not paying 60%, and even the top bracket is less than that where I live (47%). Many property investors here *do* pay tax – it’s mostly big multinationals that weasel out of it.
May 20, 2025 at 12:31 PM
Do you think capital accumulation exists as a natural result of capitalism? If so, what is the endgame of treating housing as a commodity if not concentration in the hands of a few to the detriment of many?
May 20, 2025 at 11:36 AM
I think we have different priorities then. I don’t care too much about rigid property rights when such rigidity leads to obvious negatives. I sense you’re more in the anarcho-capitalist/right libertarian camp whereas I’m in the liberal camp, with sympathies for market socialism/left libertarianism

What do you mean by the inefficiency being addressed by people who don’t own apartments?
May 20, 2025 at 9:47 AM
I mean economically inefficient from a social perspective. There exists a more efficient resource allocation which the current AirBnB model fails to find. Compare to the rental market, which from a quick search has vacancy rates of around 1-2% (at least in Aus)
May 20, 2025 at 9:47 AM
airbnbs are very economically inefficient, on average they have like a 25% occupancy rate www.alltherooms.com/resources/ar...

blanket vacancy tax is a more liberal way to regulate this though, rather than a total ban

What's the average occupancy rate you should be aiming for with your short-term rental? How can you improve your occupancy rate?

Vince tells me has only actually played 1 event, so I may re-do this.

Thank you for the data! Just wanted to provide a different lens on it, so all G
March 7, 2025 at 9:42 AM
For sure. It’s just.. there are multiple reasons why 6 IRL events are impractical for some players + factions. We can see this for IJ, and we can see this for all the players in APAC who don’t have a GT every weekend they can go to
March 7, 2025 at 9:42 AM
I think maybe you misunderstood my post about the 3-2s. I’m not excluding all 3-2s, just excluding players with a single event. Without the 2 event minimum there are a lot of 3-2 players with 90 pts total = 90 pts average who would rank in the top 10 by average.
March 7, 2025 at 9:23 AM
Agree we should all go to more events! The problem for IJ is that only one player has 5 events, and your stats skew in his favour because of this

I also only included players with 2+ events, so players who played 1 aren’t in this list. I’d bump the min to 3 for more popular factions for sure

I'll hopefully add a few more events to my own score before the new GHB too! I think Ironjawz are in a really great place, and I can't resist the call of the Bossrokk tower and big pigs 🐖
March 7, 2025 at 4:22 AM
I'm lurking just below Scott at #19, which I'm pretty happy with.

These are the rankings for Feb 2025, and I'll try to maintain them monthly as we go forward. Consider them a complement to Rob's rankings rather than a replacement!
March 7, 2025 at 4:22 AM
Jacob Brandon jumps to #1 after a stellar performance at LVO where he placed 4th. Aaron Newbom is steady at #2, being both a long-time Ironjawz enjoyer and consistent performer. There are a few other big movements, with Will Reeves dropping from #1 to #6, and Scott Smith dropping from #3 to #18
March 7, 2025 at 4:22 AM
My rankings for the top 20 are on the right, with the changes compared to Rob's rankings in the rightmost column.

I've excluded players with only 1 event, because getting a 3-2 once (90pts) doesn't intuitively seem like it should rocket you to the top 10 (insufficient faction loyalty!)
