Ah heck correction to the tlayuda. Some canned refried beans use lard, so def check ingredients.

Also ful medames. The recipe spins it as slightly more complicated, but really just saute any canned beans in their juices w/ lemon, salt, optional spices and herbs and use pita or crackers to dip.

Maybe too simple, but tlayudas are the most effective cheap, quick hunger-killer I know. Toast a big tortilla, spread of canned refried beans, throw on vegetables, optional cheese, optional protein.

If you've got 10 USD spare and you're willing to try something that feels like a card game prototype you'd play at a convention (positive connotation) I am having a fantastic time with TriZon.

There's an appeal in very balanced card games, just as there is in very balanced rpg play, and there's also a completely opposite appeal in this.

It's fun to just let loose and make a whole deck out of recursion.

The game also cheats back. The first boss has functionally infinite health. The second is placed off the board where you can't attack it. The game prods you into trying to break it.

Cards that have a cost have to be paid for by sacrificing cards on board, and theoretically the more you fuse a card the more it costs, but there's cards that do nothing but have a -1 cost and I think you see where I'm going with this.

I had no idea what to expect from it going in, but it centers around the idea that you can permanently fuse any combination of cards, and they retain all of their original properties.

I've written freelance and self-pub solo material, including adventures like Karum Station Blues.

I can usually do pretty quick turnaround and I'm comfortable with a wide range of genres and mechanical complexity.
