Happy New Years!
These last few months have been filled with a lot of challenges. Some expected, some very much unexpected. Moving forward has taken a lot out of me and it’s been a long time since I’ve had the energy and space to be my maker self. I feel her starting to wake up again and it’s bringing alot of joy. ❤️

On of my quiet resolutions to myself was to be more transparent with the voluminous and at times tedious, but necessary parts of being a maker. Organization and care. Taking the time to care for your equipment and space so it can take care of you!

You know, I specifically arranged this corner to be my snuggly/solar recharge nook…and yet…I don’t have the heart to make her move.

I love my cozy desk set up, the one place in the house that is not multi-purpose or shared (ok it’s also the cat’s but I can’t pretend that is avoidable). My fave though are my two stuffies, named after my beloved pets who have passed on. Just watchin’ over me. :)

I have this plan (so many plans) to find a piece of used/old furniture and hand paint it in some super cool way. So I peek in to our local Restore now and again to see what is there. Found this guy. I’m like 95% sure it’s haunted. If only I had room to take him home!

What is everyone up to today? I was gifted some wall planters a while back that are cool, but not great for live plants. So making a cool dried flower arrangement instead!

Whenever I get home from work and plop down on the couch, this adorable geriatric creature composed of 65lbs of sharp elbows is always so happy to leap up into on my lap. I can’t be mad that I almost always end up with a new bruise. ❤️
