Sometimes it feels like calling the bluff of those in power might shock them into doing the right thing. I like to imagine what taking power back without violence looks like. Complying in advance isn’t just about denying tyranny, it also seems to empower a status quo agenda.

Honest question: Is it possible that some would rather die or be locked in a gulag after having attempted a progressive takeover in the Democratic Party than to wait for the establishment to do the right thing?
