There were originally proposals for a trolley line transversing the the South Bay in the original Otay Ranch General Plan, however this fell apart due to NIMBY pushback. Instead, we got the Rapid 225, which isn’t being held up to BRT standards, having poor frequencies and local transit connections.

Interestingly, despite both the 707 and 709 having the same destination, the destination announcements always say “Otay Ranch Town Center” on the 707, whereas the 709 is “Olympic Pkwy/Eastlake Pkwy”

Also, please move the stops closer to the Rapid 225 station please. It’s kinda inconvenient as/is…
