You got a guaranteed vote by a guaranteed date with a guaranteed outcome (Republicans vote no on any sort of meaningful healthcare cost reform). No one asked for that, and it helps no one. Good work Senator, we're all deeply impressed that you proved that Republicans don't like the ACA!
November 10, 2025 at 3:53 AM
Well then thank goodness you and Chuck found a small group of Senators who have nothing to lose politically because they are retiring to vote yes so you could have the cover to vote no and still get what the caucus wants.

Shame on you for being so out of touch that you think a show vote matters while premiums double. We see you Senator, and that you don't care.
November 10, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Shame on you. How are you one of a handful of people on the planet that think a show vote matters while subsidies expire? We see you, you're voting to make health insurance unaffordable for those who need it most.
November 10, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Shame on you, a promise to vote on a subsidy bill you know will fail means nothing! How are you and a handful of other Democratic senators the only people left on the planet who think show votes matter when premiums are set to double? Your solution is a vote to end subsidies, we see you.
November 10, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Only Democrats are out here thinking anyone will care the Republicans voted no on a "good subsidy bill" when they've been doing that loudly the whole time to wide acclaim by their constituency.
November 10, 2025 at 12:15 AM
ROFL, the military and cops got paid anyway, they're fine. Your constituents who can't afford health insurance aren't going to be. Resign.
November 10, 2025 at 12:08 AM
Don't stop until the ACA subsidies are extended. Your constituents know that a promise to vote is a promise for Republicans to vote no, and we also don't care if you vote yes when the result is no subsidies.
November 10, 2025 at 12:04 AM
We didn't ask you to go out there and get a promise to vote on subsidies - don't stop until the subsidies are extended. No one cares if you voted yes on a bill you knew would fail, don't cave.
November 10, 2025 at 12:01 AM
A promise to vote no on ACA subsidies isn't negotiating, don't let Schumer cave. We don't care if you voted yes on a bill you knew would fail, we care if people can afford healthcare. Don't stop until the subsidies are extended.

Wild take from a company that doesn't offer people a way to pay and wants people to use their service... If you don't want folks here, shut it down, otherwise, set boundaries respectfully.

No, statistical truth. Look up the median household income and median cost of a two-bedroom apartment, or are you saying you can't believe I care about other Americans enough to want them to be able to go to the doctor?
September 30, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Good, I'm glad I'm paying for children to have insurance coverage. Their parents full salaries aren't enough to pay for a two-bedroom apartment, much less a 75%+ increase in insurance premiums.
September 30, 2025 at 9:02 PM
So you want children to die of preventable diseases and lack of medical care? Stop for a second and realize how silly you sound. The Democratic proposal isn't "fire feds to fund Medicaid."
September 30, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Just gonna throw out there that I'd listen to your explanation for why you are doing that, if you ever do...
June 17, 2025 at 2:07 AM
And you're still too weak to do anything about it. It's time to resign.
April 21, 2025 at 3:16 AM
This is what you do, this is what your supporters want. Your colleagues need to take notice. Thanks Senator!
April 1, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Correct Senator, go get them, that's what you were elected to do.

I once sat in the observation car on the Empire Builder with a family moving from back east to Washington. Mom was thrilled they could talk to someone else for a minute. I, without malice and due to my own inattention, told a 6 year old there are gazelle in North Dakota. Train travel is magic.

He could organize a campaign to replace Schumer as Minority Leader, or park himself and his staff at IMLS or ED offices to watch what DOGE does, bring that evidence back to Congress and move for Congressional action (investigations, impeachment, etc.) to retain the power of the purse, just to start.
March 20, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Neat, that's not taking action, that's saying some stuff.
