4 if you genuinely want to give to charity, just do it. I don’t think you need to use a workplace secret Santa to flex and give your colleagues 4 chickens for a family in India when you know damn well everyone just wants a bottle of wine or chocolate

3 the gift receiver HAS TO react dishonestly. “Wow, thanks, you shouldn’t have.” You genuinely shouldn’t have. They get none of the warm fuzzies of donating to charity, and they don’t get anything for Christmas, and what’s more; they can’t complain!
