Well, I'm not going home tonight, due to circumstances beyond my control, but I gotta say, even despite my run-in with security, being part of an open source conference @ the UN has been a life event that I never thought would happen. Really proud to have been there with so many incredible people.

TSA searched my bag because of this flat metal multi tool, which has been in my wallet for months. They pulled it, then the agent took it to the person looking at the X-ray to explain why it was a false positive (no sharp parts).

Back on a plane again. Today's first seat is 11D on a Delta B737-900ER. Front row of comfort plus on the right side, with a closet "bulkhead" in front. Plenty of leg room, but everyone hits me as they board, and I can't have my laptop bag down.

Seat 30G on my 8 hr flight to Madrid (Delta 767-300ER(K)). Comfort plus, bulkhead, which means lots of leg room, but my laptop bag has to go up, which means I have to get up and dig around in flight. Still, happy for the space. My legs will appreciate it.
