Some win, and didn't score anywhere near his best during the latter stages. I think there's a lot more to come from him.

Shouldn't be written off tomorrow. He can pot long balls a lot better than that and can score a lot heavier. Fights hard, does big things at big moments. Wu also facing the pressure of being favourite to win a ranking event. Can't wait. Breath of fresh air for a final.

Yeah, it's not terrible, just a shame not to see some of the regulars there. But a chance to see some new names.

When it first started, I really didn't like it. I was worried we were going to see more of this type of snooker, or that some of the rules would make their way into other events. But I've come to enjoy it as a once-a-year standalone thing. I think pre-Christmas is a nice spot in the calendar, too.

Don't like it when players start applauding several times a frame, especially when the frame is live. He's doing it all the time. Would he be doing the same for another player? Different to applauding a great century or clearance. #snooker #UKChampionship

Feel like I've seen a lot of "great to have him back" type of stuff on Twitter over the past few weeks. Any of that is too much for me - he has to prove he's worth having back. I think there is.
