Horrible, horrible news. I’m sure Liverpool’s fans will pay an incredible tribute to him, but it’s a huge loss for the women’s game
Former Liverpool Women head coach Matt Beard has died at the age of 47, the club announced on Saturday evening.
Beard had won the Women’s Super League (WSL) with the Merseyside club, and most recently managed Burnley.
